New Medicaid and Medicare Figures for 2025

The federal government has released the updated spousal impoverishment figures for Medicaid and Medicare in 2025. These changes impact individuals receiving SSI or Medicaid and their spouses. Below are the key figures you need to know:
- Minimum Monthly Maintenance Needs Allowance (MMMNA): $2,555
- Maximum Monthly Maintenance Needs Allowance: $3,948
- Minimum Community Spouse Resource Allowance: $31,584
- Maximum Community Spouse Resource Allowance: $157,920
- Medicaid Waiver Benefits Income Cap: $2,901 per month
For 2025, the monthly federal Supplemental Security Income (SSI) payment standards have also been adjusted:
- Individual: $967 per month
- Couple: $1,450 per month
Additionally, the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) has released the new Medicare premiums, deductibles, and co-payments for 2025:
- Standard Part B premium: $185/month (up from $174.70 in 2024)
- Part B deductible: $257 (up from $240 in 2024)
- Part A deductible: $1,676 (up from $1,632 in 2024)
- Co-payment for hospital stay days 61-90: $419/day (up from $408 in 2024)
- Co-payment for hospital stay days 91-150: $838/day (up from $816 in 2024)
- Skilled nursing facility co-payment, days 21-100: $209.50/day (up from $204 in 2024)
